Gourmet Wine & Food Rafting Trip
June 26 -28, 2010
At White Water Warehouse we love good food and drink and Oregon offers a bounty of each. In fact, our friends actually call us “foodies.” So, for our riverside lunches and hors d’ oeuvre’s each evening, we make sure to provide locally grown and raised organic food options for our guests.
The smoked salmon we offer is fresh Oregon stream caught and smoked. Hazelnuts are purchased directly from a mid-Willamette Valley farm and since the farmers are personal friends of WWW, we know their product quality is top-notch. The blueberries, peaches, cherries, raspberries, tomatoes, and cucumbers are either grown in our personal, organic gardens or purchased from our local friendly farmer, Russell Davis.
A variety of Oregon and Washington wines are offered during the evening social hours before dinner. And the best part? All this attention to culinary detail is inclusive in the WWW trip price! |
Periodically, we offer a truly over-the-top lodge/rafting trip with a focus on Italian gourmet wine and food. Fortunately, we are offering this trip in 2010! The trip will start on June 26 and end June 28. This is an adults-only trip priced at $1040/guest and is all-inclusive.
If you love classic Italian food & wine and the great outdoors, book this trip! Chef Matt Morse is just back from Italy and ready to provide you with his winning combinations of incredible Italian countryside cuisine balanced with vintage wines.
You’ll raft each day through the spectacular Rogue River canyon, lunching riverside. In the evenings, you will stay in historic Rogue River lodges—Black Bar and Marial. There, you will enjoy superb wines (from Matt’s personal wine cellar) matched with hors d’oeuvres and a fabulous, multi-course Italian supper.
This trip is scheduled for Saturday, June 26 - Monday, June 28, 2010. The 3-day, 2-night lodge to lodge trip is priced at $1040 per guest and is an adults only trip. Price includes meals (from lunch the first day through lunch the last day), gourmet wine selection to match the evening meals, lodging, gear, shuttle back to your vehicle at the end of the trip, all government fees--it is all-inclusive.
