We are so lucky to be partnering with an organic producing, southern Oregon company for this special August 2010 trip. We’re calling it Martini Madness because that is exactly what this trip is all about. Each evening at two different quaint, riverside lodges you will have an opportunity to taste the wonderful organic gin and vodka produced by Organic Nation Spirits. Owners Diane Paulson and David Eliasen will be your hosts for this uniquely Oregon event. The two even plan to create signature Rogue River ‘tinis for you to try!

Each day you will raft or inflatable kayak through the beautiful Rogue River canyon. White Water Warehouse will serve you incredible, organic homemade riverside lunches. All day you will take in the beauty of the protected section of the Rogue River. Come late afternoon you will arrive at the first lodge, find your private cabin, have a chance to shower and change, and then get ready for some great spirits tasting.

White Water Warehouse will provide yummy only-found-in-Oregon evening snacks to complement Organic Nation Spirits’ drinks. The lodge will provide you with a wonderful evening meal and great country breakfast the next morning.

Day two (August 30, 2010) you will repeat the process but move further down river and end up at the second lodge. Diane and David will be there to create more fun martinis for you to sip and enjoy.

Day three (August 31, 2010) finds you moving through the last of the Rogue River’s 43 miles of rapids and ripples and finishing about 3:30 p.m. at a place called Foster Bar. Shuttle vans will be there to pick you up and shuttle you back over the mountain to your waiting vehicles.

All this for a price of $900/adult (adults-only on this trip)….price includes all lodging (private cabins, double occupancy—please inquire for single rates), meals (from lunch the first day through lunch the last day), guides, government fees, gear, shuttle from the take-out, and of course those incredible evening martinis!
